Methanol–salt pairs. Critoph & Rivero Pacho (2022) compiled, in an appendix, five methanol–salt systems with both vapour-pressure and enthalpy equations: CH₃OH–LiBr (after Saravanan & Maiya 1998 and Iyoki et al. 1991), CH₃OH–(LiBr + ZnCl₂, 1:1), CH₃OH–(LiBr + ZnBr₂, 2:1), CH₃OH–(LiI + ZnBr₂, 2:1) and CH₃OH–ZnBr₂ (the zinc systems after Iedema's 1984 Delft thesis). The appendix carries several misprints of sign, unit and basis (TE-020–TE-022). One pair is built in the library from the primary theses: CH₃OH–(LiBr–ZnBr₂, 2:1), with bubble point, specific heat and enthalpies after El-Shamarka (1981) and density, viscosity and vapour pressure after Iedema (1984). The two sources agree on density within 0.5% but differ on vapour pressure by up to ≈20% at w ≈ 0.35–0.40; the disagreement is documented and carried as an uncertainty band, not averaged away.
